The Organizing Committee of SPEAR’S Russia Wealth Management Awards 2013 has announced the end of its polling of professionals from the private banking, wealth management and related industries. The shortlist of award nominees will be presented on November 20, once PwC – the independent consultant of the Awards – approves the results. The Judging Panel will then determine the winners.

The 5th anniversary SPEAR’S Russia Awards ceremony will be held on 5th December at the Mossovet State Academic Theatre in Moscow.

On 31st October, a four-time Olympic champion, member of the Laureus World Sports Academy and Editor-in-Chief of BOLSHOI Sport magazine Alexei Nemov hosted a gala reception, Friends of BOLSHOI Sport, at the Vetoshny Art Center in Moscow. Many great athletes of our time, including six-time Grand Slam champion Boris Becker, legend of Soviet sports Larisa Latynina, Olympic champions Vladimir Salnikov, Alexander Karelin, Tatiana Navka, Maria Kiseleva, Anastasia Ermakova, Pavel Kolobkov, Svetlana Romashina, Anna Chicherova, Angelika Timanina, Daria Korobova, Elvira Khasyanova, and others, as well as representatives of the sports, business, and media establishment gathered to show their support for the Russian Olympic team once more before the first home Winter Olympics in Sochi. But most importantly, the honoring of Russian athletes took place with the participation of Laureus, one of the most influential charity organizations in the world of sports, of which Alexei Nemov is currently the only Russian member. After organizing a large event in St. Petersburg in 2008, Laureus has not paid much attention to Russian athletes in recent years, consistently overlooking them at the annual Laureus World Sports Awards. Today, thanks to the efforts of Alexei Nemov and BOLSHOI Sport magazine, the official media partner of Laureus in Russia, this situation might change for the better.

The International World Lifestyle Awards that annually assesses the leading cities in the world will be held in Moscow for the first time in 2014. The corresponding agreement was signed by MEDIACRAT and the organizers of the Awards in London.

It is expected that the Moscow Lifestyle Awards 2014 will be held in Moscow in April and will be organized by MEDIACRAT and WATCH Russia. The Awards will evaluate the activities of people and companies that make up the so-called Moscow way of life, making the Russian capital one of the world’s most attractive cities.

The Moscow Lifestyle Awards will be organized in the format of the award ceremony annually held in London.

From 23rd October through 11th November, the participants will be asked to identify the first, second and third places in each category. Once PwC – the Independent Consultant of the Awards – approves the results, the Organizing Committee will announce the final shortlists in each category. The winners will be determined by a Judging Panel headed by Andrei Vdovin, Editor-in-Chief of SPEAR'S Russia.

The famous German tennis player, Boris Becker – six-time Grand Slam winner and member of the Laureus World Sports Academy – will be the special guest of honor at the gala reception Friends of Big Sports, to be hosted on 31st October in Moscow by Alexei Nemov, four-time Olympic champion and Editor-in-Chief of BOLSHOI Sport magazine.

The Vetoshny Art Center will bring together Russian and foreign athletes as well as representatives of sports, political, and business establishments. Worldwide charity movement, Laureus, of which Alexei Nemov is currently the only Russian member, will be the Official Charity Partner of the Friends of Big Sports event.

On 25th September, Hakob Paronyan Musical Comedy Theatre of Yerevan with the support of MEDIACRAT hosted the presentation of a unique collector’s edition of Revelations. ARARAT gift book – a collection of legends, stories, and experiences related to Armenia, Armenian brandy, and the culture of the country – released to mark the 125th anniversary of the legendary Armenian brandy ArArAt and the Yerevan Brandy Company.

The event was graced by some 300 guests: partners, key ArArAt customers and distributors in major markets across Eastern and Western Europe. A modern dance performance based on the stories from the book Revelations. ARARAT was produced and performed especially for the presentation by Golden Mask National Theatre Award nominees, the Kannon Dance group.
