On 7 December the SPEAR’S Russia Wealth Management Awards ceremony was held at the Mossovet Theatre in Moscow. The award is presented annually to recognise representatives of the private banking and wealth management industry as well as those from adjacent sectors. In 2015 the awards ceremony was held for the seventh time. Sberbank Private Banking won the nomination “Best Russian Bank for Private Clients, while Promsvyazbank was named the best Russian Bank for Corporate Clients. Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen and UBS Switzerland were identified by the panel of judges as best foreign banks with the former operating in Russia and the latter servicing HNW Russian nationals abroad. Rietumu Banka became the Best Private Bank in the Baltics and the CIS for the forth year in a row. Alfa-Capital MC won the Best Managing Company nomination, QB Finance had no equals among Investment Companies while CONFIDERI Advisory Group re-affirmed its status as the Best Family Office. QBF Asset Management was this year’s Best Start-up Company and Natsionalnaya Yuridicheskaya Sluzhba (National Legal Service) was recognised as the Best Legal Counsel of the year. Winners of personal nominations included A.v.e. co-owner and Chairman of the Board of Directors Temur Shakaya (Businessman of the Year), Dmitri Breitenbicher from the Bank of Moscow (Investment Consultant of the Year), and Aidan Salakhova from the Aidan gallery (Art Consultant of the Year).
